Candy is supported on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. The latest service pack should always be installed.

Non business SKUs are not recommended (Home editions).
Candy will run correctly on all 64-bit Intel x86 processors running a compatible 64-bit Microsoft operating system.
· 2 GHz Intel dual core or equivalent
· 4GB of system memory
· 80 GB hard drive with at least 1 GB of available space
· Display card and monitor that supports a resolution of 1366 x 768 or better
· Internet access (for support, system updates and licensing)
A monitor capable of 1366x768 displaying 32bit colour is the recommended minimum.
Candy can run on a second monitor.
Candy functions under a number of virtualized environments including Citrix, MS Remote Desktop.
Microsoft .NET 4.0 is recommended.
Candy uses the Windows 32 bit File API. It relies on services provided by this API for file sharing, file locking and record locking. Non-Microsoft operating systems and server configurations that do not emulate the Windows 32 File API fully will not execute Candy correctly – specifically resulting in data loss. Servers that make use of proprietary caching software must be correctly configured with Candy in mind.
The Candy licence mechanism is supported on Windows 32 bit File systems. The licence will fail on UNIX, Linux and DOS based servers. Virus protection software and archive utilities that tamper with file attributes, and properties of the licence file will cause it to fail.
Accessing Candy data in a synchronised data folder can caused data corruption and speed issues. This includes offline folders and cloud folders.
