Candy stores files outside of the Documents folder.
These files need to be preserved.
Clearing the TEMP folder on log off will destroy Candy’s error logs. Not preserving a user’s AppData will destroy the Candy help files.
Candy keeps many temporary files in the Windows temporary folder (in a subdirectory called CCSTEMP). Many are ‘log’ files. These are helpful files in the event of a particular operation not working.
Candy error logs are also kept here. It is important that this file is retained …
Help files are located in the user AppData folder. These are copied to this location when Candy is run for the first time after an update. These files need to be preserved after a user logs off for the help to be available the next time the user logs in.
The whole HELP folder needs to be retained, the default path is:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Construction Computer Software\HELP
